Neil Cavuto is a well-known American television news anchor, executive, commentator, and business journalist. He previously hosted shows like Your World with Neil Cavuto and Cavuto Live on Fox News, along with Cavuto: Coast to Coast on Fox Business Network, until he decided to part ways with the network on December 19, 2024.
Before making his mark at Fox, Cavuto was a principal anchor and reporter at CNBC, where he co-anchored the network’s very first broadcast on April 17, 1989. He also hosted Power Lunch, contributed to Today, and spent 15 years with the Public Broadcasting Service, reporting for Nightly Business Report, during which he served as the New York City bureau chief.
Cavuto joined Fox News in July 1996 and took on the role of host and managing editor for Your World with Neil Cavuto when the network launched later that same year. In March 2006, he was appointed vice president of Fox Business News, juggling multiple roles at once. Your World eventually became one of Fox’s flagship business news programs.
Over the course of his career, Cavuto earned five CableACE Award nominations. He’s also the author of two New York Times bestsellers: More Than Money and Your Money or Your Life.
