Baier now works as FOX News Channel’s (FNC) anchor and executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier (weeknights at 6-7 PM/ET) and chief political anchor of the network. In January 2019, Bret celebrated his 10-year anniversary of anchoring Special Report, the highest-rated cable news program in its timeslot. He is also consistently one of the top five shows in cable news. He served the network in 1998 as the first reporter in the Atlanta bureau and is currently based in Washington, DC.
