Chris Wallace is an American broadcast journalist known for his tough, wide-ranging interviews. He is often compared to his father, legendary 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace.
Over a career spanning more than 60 years, Wallace has worked as a correspondent, moderator, and anchor across major networks including CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox News, and CNN. In 2018, he was recognized as one of the most trusted television news anchors in the United States. His accolades include three Emmy Awards, as well as a Peabody Award, a George Polk Award, and the duPont–Columbia University Silver Baton.
From 2003 to 2021, Wallace hosted Fox News Sunday, where he conducted high-profile interviews with figures such as Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Vladimir Putin. He also made history as the first Fox News journalist to moderate a U.S. presidential debate, overseeing the 2016 debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton, and later moderating the 2020 debate between Trump and Joe Biden.
