Before, Gray served as a meteorologist for KTBS 3, the ABC affiliate in Shreveport, Louisiana; and KBTV 4, the NBC affiliate in Beaumont, Texas. During this time, she worked on hurricanes, tornados, record heat waves, ice storms, and flooding; She also reported live events, like Super Bowl XLIV.
