In 2003, he became part of the production team for The O’Reilly Factor, and by 2004, he was making appearances on-air in various segments of the show.
On June 11, 2014, Watters made his first appearance on the Fox News program Outnumbered, stepping in occasionally as a guest co-host. Then, on November 20, 2015, he launched his own monthly show, Watters’ World. With a reputation for his “ambush journalism” style, Watters describes his approach as friendly and entertaining, aiming to keep interviews light-hearted while capturing those unexpected reactions. By January 2017, Watters’ World transitioned into a weekly show, airing Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Then, in July 2024, he stirred up more controversy by stating that he “heard the scientists say the other day that when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”
